April weaving, because it intertwines, a bit of winter, a bit of summer. This is exactly what April looked like this year. A few sunny days, and the rest cold and rainy. However, that didn’t stop us from having a great time and having a good time. Our teachers make sure that the children are not bored and that they get the most out of each day.

At the very beginning of April, we went to a meeting in the Ognik Educational Room. We met real firefighters there and found out exactly what their job is. We had the opportunity to hear the sound of an alarm, sit in a fire truck or put on real uniforms. It was a very exciting trip, which greatly expanded the children’s knowledge about the work of firefighters.

We barely managed to catch our breath after the trip, and the very next day an important event was taking place in our kindergarten. We hosted parents at Easter workshops. The children and the teachers prepared art supplies that were used to make beautiful decorations for Christmas tables. It was a moment when we could meet, talk, be together in a more relaxed atmosphere. We like such moments in our kindergarten.

On April 5, we touched on a very important topic. More and more children are being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. What is this autism? What are its symptoms? How can children with this type of disorder behave? We answered these questions together with the children. April 2nd is World Autism Day and the world turns blue on that day. This year, our kindergarten took part in the Blue Games for the first time. Dressed in blue clothes, we did various physical exercises together. It gave us a lot of satisfaction and joy. These activities also allowed us to understand that not everyone is the same, but that does not mean that they are worse.

On April 20, a concert “In a forest tone, on a horn or a trombone” was held in our place. Children, as usual at such events, had the opportunity to listen to the sounds made by individual instruments, but also took an active part in singing songs. It was great fun and we all had a great time that day.

Earth Day is also in April. In our kindergarten, there was also a lot of activities related to it. Mrs. Kasia prepared a whole set of exercises and games, the aim of which was to make preschoolers aware of the importance of taking care of our planet and what we can do to make our lives better. Children segregated garbage, threw it into properly marked containers and planted their group plants.

There were also works of art referring to the theme of caring for nature. Each of us is responsible for what the planet will look like. From an early age, we must show children what they can do to make it beautiful and clean.

As you can see, this April was beautiful. Although it was raining, windy and the weather did not encourage activity, it was fun and joyful with us, as always. Because Our Teachers know what to do to make children have fun 😊
