February in our kindergarten was marked by joy, creative games and many interesting events that not only provided children with a lot of fun, but also developed their social, manual and cognitive skills. It was a month full of inspiring activities, celebrations and valuable meetings.

Bear Day

We started the month by exploring the secrets of the bear world. The children learned where different species of these animals live, what they eat and how they cope in the colder months. There was also no shortage of creative activities – preschoolers created beautiful works of art depicting bears. It was a great combination of learning and fun!

Pizza Day – creative delicacies!

Another delicious day was Pizza Day, during which children could take on the role of little chefs and design their favorite pizzas – this time in paper form! The choice of ingredients was huge, and the effects of the preschoolers’ work were colorful and full of imagination. It was also a great opportunity to talk about favorite flavors and healthy food.

Valentine’s Day – a day full of warmth!

On February 14, our kindergarten was filled with a unique atmosphere – shades of red and pink dominated everywhere, and the children’s smiles spoke for themselves! The kindergarteners prepared their own Valentine’s Day cards with great commitment, which they gave to their friends and teachers. It was a day full of warm gestures, cordiality and kind words.

Cat Day – the cat’s world in our kindergarten

As part of Cat Day, children had the opportunity to watch an educational film that introduced them to the world of these mysterious animals in an accessible way. They learned, among other things, how to take care of cats, what their habits are, and how they differ from dogs. Later, each preschooler made a paper kitten – a task that required not only precision, but also creativity. Coloring, cutting out, and folding the elements was a great exercise for little hands!

Carnival Ball – dancing, fun and great costumes!

One of the most important events of this month was of course the Carnival Ball, which the children were waiting for with great impatience. The preschoolers presented themselves in beautiful costumes – there were princesses, superheroes, animals and many other fantastic characters! The whole day was spent dancing, playing and competing – including an exciting game of “hot chairs”. Everyone had a great time, which was visible on the smiling faces!

Policewoman’s visit – an important safety lesson

February is also a time to gain valuable information about safety. Preschoolers had the opportunity to meet a policewoman who told them about the rules of safe behavior – including why you shouldn’t open the door to strangers, what the most important emergency numbers are and how to act when dealing with strangers. At the end, the children made thematic art works, which were a great exercise for precision and fine motor skills.

We play with our senses – “Dirty Task”

As part of the “Play with your senses” project, preschoolers had the opportunity to explore different textures and consistencies in the “Dirty task”. There was colored rice, slippery pasta, jelly full of hidden dinosaurs (which perfectly matched the celebrated Dinosaur Day!), and at the end, the children painted with their hands. It was an extraordinary game that provided the little ones with a lot of joy and at the same time stimulated their senses and supported sensory development.

New article on the blog – fairy tales and their influence on children

In February, a new article appeared on our website devoted to fairy tales – their role in a child’s development, possible negative effects of excessive viewing, and tips on which fairy tales are worth choosing. We also suggest how to creatively manage a child’s time instead of reaching for the screen. We cordially invite you to read it!

February in our kindergarten was incredibly intense and full of wonderful moments! We would like to thank all the kindergarteners for their commitment, joy and creativity. It is thanks to them that each of these events was exceptional.

We are already looking forward to the next months and new, interesting activities!
