May was an incredibly intense and emotional month in our preschool! Each week brought new experiences, topics and the joy of discovering the world – both in the form of learning and play.

At the beginning of the month we touched upon important patriotic topics – the children learned about, and some recalled, national symbols, learned what the May holidays are and, on this occasion, made beautiful works of art with a map of Poland and a white-red flag.

European Union Day also took place, during which we learned about the member states and the children made a common EU flag, listening to the anthem and learning about cooperation.

Space Day was a great experience, taking us on a journey through the Solar System. We learned about the profession of an astronomer and astronaut, watched an educational film and learned how stars are formed.

On Good Deeds Day, we talked about how small gestures can change the world. Good deeds shape empathy, kindness, responsibility and the ability to empathize in children – values that are very important to us in our daily educational work.

In May, children had the opportunity to develop their senses through more sensory tasks, this time created by our preschool specialists. Together we created our small garden, a unique sensory path, and made scented soaps with dried flowers – all to stimulate the senses of sight, touch and smell. And at the end there was an interesting experiment – salt crystallization, which allows children to understand natural phenomena and develop patience and observation skills.

We ended May in a special way – on May 30th, our kindergarten hosted a joyful Family Day. There were many attractions for children and their loved ones: face painting, colorful braids, tattoos and, of course, a barbecue. Everyone had a great time, and the smiles on the faces of both young and old participants were endless. It was a wonderful time of fun together, which will stay in our memories for a long time.

As you can see, May was full of excitement, discoveries and joy. We are happy that we can create such special moments together with the children. We invite you to view the photo gallery on our Facebook and Instagram and to follow our next activities!
